From one unorthodox goal to another (and gold cup final sorted)

The little goal machine himself Javier Hernandez struck again last night but this one is not likely to make his show reel anytime soon, in terms of importance though it was a big goal as it guaranteed Mexico’s place in the Gold cup final at the expense of Honduras.

Mexico by all accounts have looked pretty handy during the tournament while the USA have looked distinctly average, relying on forgotten man (and everyone’s favourite champ manager discovery back in the day) Freddy Adu to save their skin the their semi but this will be a one off game and can go either way. Baz is sticking with the form book and putting his money on Mexico, I’ll have a few quid on the little pea striking again too as everything he touches at the bottom turns to gold (no pun intended)
